Grab a friend and come spend the week playing at Emerge! Kids (ages 5-14) will spend time in gymnastics, ninja, and doing other fun activities around the gym!

• Camps run Monday-Thursday from the hours of 8:30-3:30 pm
• Camps will need a minimum of 5 students signed up at least 2 weeks in advance in order to run camp.
• Kids will need to bring their own lunch and water bottles but will be provided with snacks.

2026 Dates

Camp 1- June 8th-June 11th
Camp 2- June 15th-June 18th
Camp 3- June 29th-July 2nd
Camp 4- July 13th-July 16th
Camp 5- July 20th-July 23rd
Camp 6- July 27th-July 30th
Camp 7- August 3rd-August 6th

Cost

$250 pre-register 2 weeks prior to camp start date, $325 for late registration

Meet the Staff

Hello! My name is Stephen Elliott, and I will be the Camp Leader at Emerge Academy. Before I talk too much about myself, I want to say it is important to me that I provide your child with a fun and exciting experience that they will remember for many summers to come. It is also a goal of mine to ensure that at the bare minimum, some of your child’s youthful energy has been used prior to your arrival at the end of the day.

Now a little bit about my background and education. In high school I participated in many sports such as Soccer, basketball, Football, Track, and Cross Country, before graduating in the year 2020. Although I would love to have continued playing all the sports I could, I chose to focus on Track & Field when I arrived at Wartburg college. I graduated college with a K-12 PE teaching license as well as endorsements in health and coaching.
I am currently teaching PE for grades K-8, and a pre school associate at Saints Mary & Mathias Catholic School in Muscatine. I also coach Cross Country and Track at Muscatine High School in the afternoon. During the school year I get to work with 4 year olds all the way to 18 year olds on a daily basis.

During my free time I enjoy having fun outside, playing video games with friends, hanging out with family, and going runs/walks with my girlfriend Rachel. I also have a twin sister named Rosemary who is a very skilled and successful goalie in soccer, who I will be competing with during the Iowa Games Co-Ed 11v11 adult league soccer division.

Your child will have a wide variety of games and activities this summer, some of which will also help develop your child’s cooperative and collaboration skills. I am excited to meet/see your child again, and I hope I can have them enjoy camp as much as I will!
